I've tried many different types and although not the best in the world the Bjorn Baby carrier isn't bad and it's not to expensive. Try a few on and see what you think. Don't worry about the baby falling out - he won't! I'd say the only downside to this type of front sling is that it takes some getting used to. Stick with it though and you won't regret it.
